Saw Zanele Muholi's Qiniso, The Sails, Durban at Tate Modern and can't stop thinking about it. Muholi's self portraits are a direct answer to a history of photography that was never built for Black skin. It's part of Somnyama Ngonyama ("Hail the Dark Lioness"), and it just floors you. Go see it if you can.
